Today’s society can place a high level of stress onto us. In order to keep up with the demands of fast paced lifestyles we can speed up trying to cram in as much as possible. Once we are functioning at that speed it can very difficult to slow down, which can lead to stress and ill health.

Relaxation helps to keep our stress levels down, helping us to remain fit and healthy, and generally enhancing the quality of our lives.

Hypnotherapy is a recognised method of relaxation therapy. A hypnotic trance helps you to go into a deeply relaxed state. Guided imagery is used to help to take you to a place of peace and calm. Whilst you are in this place I will offer you therapeutic suggestions to help you to begin to make any changes you might need in order to bring the pace of your life back to how you want it to be.

Benefits can be: – stress relief, improved energy, improved quality of sleep, better concentration, lessening of tension generally, lowering of blood pressure etc.

SLEEP WALKING

Sleepwalking can occur for a variety of reasons e.g. stress, anxiety, extreme tiredness, sleep deprivation, trauma, taking medication etc. It can start at any age but is more common in children.

Sleepwalking can make the person who experiences it feel exhausted, confused and out of control.

Hypnotherapy is an effective method of treatment for sleep disorders, working towards changing patterns of unwanted behaviour. I will use techniques to enable me to communicate directly with your unconscious mind in order to identify the root cause and alter any unhelpful thoughts or behaviours, planting suggestions for future relaxation, comfort and more peaceful sleep.
